What you will be doing:

Our Warehouse Unit based in the main office in Orpington is the last link in the chain of our production facility ensuring that our customers campaign and event products are securely stored, managed and despatched on time in full and pristine condition. You will be responsible for packing, storing, collating and despatching all in-house produced items as well as managing Goods In, yard, helping other units to move things around and get Production Floor organised for an efficient work. As a result, this is a very busy and diverse department with logistical and collation requirements occurring everyday throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

The role of Warehouse Manager is to organise and supervise the Warehouse team to ensure that all items of an event/campaign are suitably protected for the movement from our production facility to their end destination, correctly collated and shipped on the correct date and service. You are required to ensure that all members of the department adhere to Health & Safety guidelines specifically around manual handling and operations of a forklift.

You will work closely with, Account, Production and Logistics teams to ensure all projects are delivered and all requirements and needs of the clients are met and exceeded.

Working within this extremely busy and challenging department you will be tasked with:

Responsibility for management of the department team members, ensuring that they all work to the required standards.
Setting up daily, hourly tasks for shifts across the department.
Following approved process of items packaging, labelling, collation, loading and off-loading.
Scheduling works, projects and campaign requirements to fit within production requirements and project timeframes.
Overseeing the stock levels and ordering of equipment and sundries for the department, control of resource levels and working hours for team members.
Booking all overnight deliveries (preparation of all requests and paperwork)
Create and manage skills assessments for team members.
Ensure that all department members are following all appropriate ways of working and procedures for each task and ensuring that quality processes are met and followed.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Enjoy being on the phone and forging and maintaining relationships.
You will be an out-going, organised, capable, friendly and helpful.
Excellent ability to project manage, problem solve and have fantastic organizational skills.
Effective time management skills with the ability to work to multiple deadlines.
Able to multi-task and prioritise (working across numerous activities at a time).
Stress resistance and ability to work under pressure.
Experience managing a team, keeping others motivated, engaged and on task.
Good computer skills, particularly with Excel and MS office suite.
A stickler for processes, great attention to detail, to ensure right first time.
You will take pride in your work, remaining focused, calm and motivated.
Able to report and provide precises information for management on request.
Health and Safety trained.
