Kroll is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (IFS Finance Support) reporting to the Director of IFS Support. This position is fully remote, with the expectation of working out of our Morristown, New Jersey office twice a month.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial planning activities for the Technology Group, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly close processes.
  • Deliver monthly and year-to-date financial analysis, highlighting variances against budget and forecast.
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting in support of Technology leadership.
  • Review and classify expenses accurately, ensuring proper treatment of accrued, prepaid, and capital expenditures.
  • Partner with fixed asset and prepaid teams to validate transactions and prepare executive summaries for senior leadership and board reporting.
  • Oversee accounting and reporting for investment initiatives, including preparation of board-level financial summaries.
  • Prepare and post journal entries as part of the monthly close cycle.
  • Monitor changes in compensation-related expenses and analyze headcount trends.
  • Support financial review of vendor contracts and renewals.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and policies.
  • Supervise and mentor one junior associate, fostering growth and accountability.

Essential Traits:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA and/or MBA a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, budgeting, or corporate accounting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player with experience working across virtual and remote teams.
  • Familiarity with IT cost structures, could economics, and software licensing models
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
