Start your career in public service. The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS), Division of Family & Children Services (DFCS) is seeking candidates for the position of Contracts Administrator 2. The position is primarily remote, but occasionally requires report to the office, based out of 47 Trinity Avenue in downtown Atlanta.

Position Duties
Pay Grade: J
Under general supervision, develops, processes, approves, and oversees legal contracts and compliance within the guidelines. Monitors performance of assigned contracts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinates implementation of a high volume of contracts for the provision of social, therapeutic, & behavioral health services.
- Performs research, evaluation, and analysis for monitoring vendor performance for compliance of contracts.
- Develops and implements contracting policies and procedures; recommends improvements to existing policy/procedure.
- May serve as lead staff
- Provides technical assistance/training to assigned staff, external service providers and interdepartmental stakeholders.
- Monitor and audit Provider contractual compliance.

- Previous case management experience is preferred
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED and five (5) years of contracting job-related experience;
- One (1) year of experience required at the lower-level Contracts Administrator 1 (LEP030) or position equivalent.
Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, demonstrate some or all of the following skills/experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or associate degree with two years’ experience in a related field and at least one year’s experience working with computer systems for data entry and data review
- Verbal and written communications skills
- Flexibility to work at various hours
- Proficient in MS Office Proficient with Microsoft Office – Excel proficiency is a must
