Pre-Op / PACU Registered Nurse - PRN presso The Reproductive Medicine Group Surgery Center

We are currently seeking an experienced Pre-Op/PACU RN who would be available on PRN basis. This role requires a compassionate, detail-oriented RN who can provide high-quality postoperative care in a dynamic fertility clinic environment. If you have fertility experience, this is a plus! 

Hours: Availability for a minimum of two shifts per pay period, in addition to participation in the weekend shift rotation, with at least one Saturday or Sunday shift per month required.

What you'll do in this role: 

• Monitor and assess patients' recovery from anesthesia following fertility procedures.
• Provide postoperative care, including pain management and administering medications as needed.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall well-being.
• Collaborate with the surgical team, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Recognize and respond to signs of postoperative complications or emergencies.
• Provide appropriate interventions and collaborate with the healthcare team to stabilize patients.
• Educate patients on postoperative care, medication administration, and any specific instructions related to their fertility treatment.
• Maintain and manage PACU equipment and supplies, ensuring they are clean, functional, and available.

What is required:

• Current RN license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Florida
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• A minimum of one year experience with Pre-Op/Pacu
