We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious professional with strong technical expertise in electrical, electronic, mechanical, and network systems. The ideal candidate thrives in a team-oriented environment, demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills, and is committed to quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Understand and apply customer acceptance criteria for assigned projects/products
Conduct systematic handovers from manufacturing and strictly follow test procedures
Perform serial test procedures, complete test reports, and ensure timely resolution of failures
Accurately document and trace failures; escalate unresolved deviations to the Vehicle Lead Engineer
Propose and support process improvements for testing efficiency and reliability
Maintain collaboration and transparency with team members across shifts
Coordinate effectively with Test Engineering Technicians and Industrial Quality teams
Identify and report outdated or inadequate testing tools
Comply with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures and report deviations, near-misses, or accidents
Track and maintain awareness of personal performance against key performance indicators (KPIs)
Operate and troubleshoot electrical equipment, including DMMs, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
Work safely with high-voltage systems (e.g., 750VDC, 11KV AC) and at heights up to 90 feet when required
Qualifications
Education:
Minimum license degree in engineering or equivalent
(Preferred) Specialized studies in the railway industry
Experience:
1–2 years in industrial activities related to electrical, control, onboard communications, or network systems in process industries, railways, or factory automation
Strong proficiency in English (spoken and written)
(Preferred) Familiarity with IT tools, smart devices, and high-risk electrical activities with EHS considerations
Skills & Competencies:
Solid technical knowledge in electrical, electronic, mechanical, and network domains
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities in complex environments
Effective communication and teamwork across functions and multicultural environments
Result-driven mindset with commitment to quality and productivity
Ability to troubleshoot down to Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) level
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
