Purpose:

To accurately order, ensuring shelves remain abundantly stocked throughout the order/delivery cycle with minimal back stock, quickly and accurately stock shelves maintaining a high quality appearance. Participate in routine department tasks such as cleaning, stocking, rotation, quality control, preparation for inventory. The Wellness Replenisher is responsible for actively assisting customers while providing sincere and knowledgeable information in compliance with department guidelines.

Status: Reports to Wellness Manager


Customer Service:

  • Assist customers with product questions in prompt, courteous manner.
  • Share product knowledge with customers in compliance to DHSEA law and continue to develop product knowledge.
  • Helps customers place and retrieve special orders.
  • Responds promptly to front end requests for prices and customer assistance.
  • Keeps aisle clear and stays out of customer’s way while stocking.
  • Product Presentation and Quality:
  • Maintain upkeep on all departments within Wellness: Body Care, Supplements, Housewares and CBM.
  • Ensures orders are properly stocked.
  • Ensures all product is neatly and accurately placed on shelves, allowing for proper facings according to shelf
  • tags and signage
  • Continually organizes and maintains back stock.
  • Receives vendor orders throughout the day and addresses all order errors and damages immediately.
  • Product facing; ensures all product is pulled to the front of the shelves and has an organized appearance
  • Ensures all product has proper signage on the shelf; pulls out-of-date product; returns all damaged product
  • for credit and records shrink in shrink log
  • Ensures that all shelf tags and signage are accurate and communicates needs for either to the Buyer or
  • Wellness Manager
  • Knowledgeable and aware of monthly sales as well as changing displays to ensure they are well maintained
  • and stocked
  • Maintains cleanliness of shelving and the entire department, as needed

Safety:

  • Handle hazardous equipment (razors, knives ladders) carefully. Never leaves anything out where it could injure others.
  • Conscientious about proper lifting procedures.
  • Mindful of potential hazards to customers and other employees such as spilled and broken product, and takes actions to correct hazards.

Teamwork:

  • Conscientious about co-workers and works with the team for department efficiency.
  • Take phone messages and transcribe onto record answering questions in a timely manner. Leave machine clear for next shift.
  • Keep eye out for shoplifting- reporting to Maintenance and Security when necessary.
  • Read staff log daily and attend staff meetings and trainings
  • Participates in quarterly inventory.

  • Accept responsibility for own actions  
  • Exemplifies honesty, integrity and ethics

Job Specific Functions:

Purchasing:

  • Places daily orders as needed
  • Informs manager of mispicks and credits to ensure timely refunds/payments
  • Ensures minimal out of stocks
  • Ensures appropriate levels of backs stock with minimal shrink
  • Reports to manager interdepartmental transfers
  • Participates in, and organizes retail shelves and backstock for quarterly inventories
  • Reports slow moving, out of stock and discontinued items to the Wellness Manager and Wellness Buyer






Requirements

  • Familiar with vitamins and natural health products. 
  • Self-management and an ability to remain calm under any stressful situation 
  • Ability to communicate with various types of people in various ways (written, verbal, demonstration) 
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment 
  • Reliability; regular and punctual attendance 
  • Scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of the department. 
  • Ability to follow-through on commitments and/or verbal instruction 
  • Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
