Description
Meridian Title is one of the nation's largest independent title agencies with over 80 years of experience in providing title insurance coverage, escrow closings, and real estate related services. We're looking for energetic and self-motivated individuals to join our team of title and escrow experts. We're currently looking for an Order Entry Coordinator in South Bend.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Reviews orders received by email/phone/directly entered into our system. Accurately enters new data into the system. Clarifies any missing information that is submitted according to established practice.
- Creates search requests from within the system to order a property search or specific documents from a contractual search vendor (including but not limited to deed, chain of title, specific year, full property, etc.).
- Uploads/inserts additional documents needed for the production of files when provided (i.e., prior, deed, purchase and/or listing agreement, etc.).
- Reviews order documents, not limited to purchase agreements, and makes necessary entries into system and/or discusses difficult orders with a team member/supervisor, making recommendations as required. When uncertain, solicits assistance from Account Managers, OE team members and/or other appropriate levels of personnel.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Good working knowledge of computers. Familiarity with Purchase Agreements, Listing Agreements, and various abbreviations and terminology of the real estate industry not all required but a plus. Knowledge of company requirements for specific products ordered by customers. Familiarity with company email & ResWare systems.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & LICENSING:
High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years' experience in order entry, data entry or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
