Description

Precision Healthcare Specialist is seeking a skilled and reliable PRN X-Ray Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures with accuracy and compassion, supporting high-quality patient care in a collaborative clinical environment. This is a per diem (PRN) position with flexible scheduling based on clinic needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
  
• Operate radiologic equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
  
• Properly position patients for imaging, demonstrating care and respect for patients of all ages and conditions.
  
• Verify patient identity and maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA policies.
  
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to appropriate personnel.
  
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely and coordinated care.
  
• Support front or back office clinical tasks when imaging workload allows, as appropriate for skill level and certifications.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  
• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  
• Valid state Radiologic Technologist license.
  
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  
• Minimum 1 year of clinical X-ray experience preferred;
  
• Familiarity with digital radiography (DR), PACS systems, and EMR software.
