Plant Manager presso Kent Building Supplies

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for all areas of the plant to ensure high standards of quality, safety, and customer service.
• Coordinate work in various departments and facilitates improvement initiatives. 
• Manage employee performance, identify training opportunities, and develop talent to align with future business requirements.
• Deliver on production and delivery targets.
• Monitor cost of production to identify opportunities to reduce cost and increase efficiency.
• Ensure inventory is properly accounted for and accurate.
• Control inventory levels of finished and raw materials to the optimum levels required to meet customer delivery expectations.
• Create a safety culture that results in constant improvement in safety metrics.
• Ensure that all equipment is being properly used and maintained.

Qualifications:

• Completed post-secondary education with a preference given to an engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of successful plant management or supervisory experience. 
• People leader with excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
• Change agent with ability to implement process improvement and evaluate alternate solutions.
• Excellent understanding of budgetary development and financial management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to leverage technology for project management, analysis and solving problems (including Microsoft Office Suite).
