Are you a strategic planner with a passion for keeping operations running smoothly? We’re looking for a Scheduling Manager to lead the way in establishing, managing, and optimizing our internal production schedule and departmental capacity. In this role, you’ll set baseline metrics for workflow capacity, track and improve on-time delivery, and develop a master plan that drives production success. You’ll serve as the critical link between sales and operations, ensuring clear communication, alignment across departments, and stronger scheduling systems that keep our business moving forward.
Shift available: Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. This role is a hybrid position and typically requires being onsite 3–4 days per week, though the exact schedule may vary depending on business needs and the time of season. Regular in-office collaboration with team members and business partners is expected.
A variety of these traits will help land you this job if you have:
- an Associate’s degree, technical/trade school diploma or certification — or 5+ years of equivalent work experience (preferred)
- at least 3 years of experience in print production or the wide-format digital printing industry
- hands-on experience with production planning software, with 1+ years in a management role preferred

In this position you'll:
- take an active role in Continuous Improvement initiatives, contributing to meetings and standards that strengthen the scheduling department and its alignment with other teams
- lead and manage the Scheduling team, maintaining a master plan that supports both production and project schedules
- analyze demand requirements, identify potential bottlenecks, and recommend solutions to keep production and supply on track
- collaborate closely with the Planning and Estimating team to align timing, materials, and costs
- oversee department operations by setting priorities, coaching, mentoring, and evaluating staff to ensure effective scheduling and material flow
- recommend and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
- direct the Scheduling team to ensure products are available on time for customer orders and shipments
- build and maintain strong relationships with executives, management, and peers to provide high-quality service across the organization
- conduct time studies and partner with teams to establish standards for new assets and workflows
- participate in production meetings to ensure smooth launches and successful task execution
- monitor and report on the status of major projects, ensuring timely execution and delivery
- lead Steering and Pre-Production meetings to align teams on priorities and schedules
- define, create, and implement detailed workback schedules while holding Project Management and Sales teams accountable to critical deadlines
- set clear performance expectations and provide consistent feedback, both positive and constructive, to team members and cross-functional partners
- motivate, mentor, coach, and train employees to support professional growth, engagement, and a safe, inclusive environment
- keep the production schedule current and accurate, ensuring transparency across all stakeholders
- communicate variances and capacity issues effectively to the appropriate departments and managers
- take on additional tasks and projects as assigned by management

Compensation Range: $84,000 - $102,000 annually
*Range reflects our good-faith assessment of our hiring range for this role based on market conditions, experience level, and internal equity considerations.
