Position Summary: The Recycling Coordinator will be responsible for processing some of the facilities’ recycling needs, such as cardboard, wire, etc.
Duties / Responsibilities:
• Operate the wire granulator to prepare the wire for recycling
• Breakdown boxes by disassembling them to prepare them for recycling
• Back up EHS Coordinator as needed such as, but not limited to: communicate with waste management and disposal vendors to coordinate pickup and disposal of waste.
• Retrieve recycling throughout the facility
• In conjunction with the EHS Manager, lead the cultural change to become more environmentally friendly at home and at work.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) 10 or 30 for general/construction industry is a plus.
• Self-motivated and self-starting
• Ability to work independently on projects with minimal oversight or guidance.
• Desire to learn and improve new and existing skills.
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Good people/communication skills
Internal Qualifications:

*Please note, this position does not have a bonus structure*
• Must have received Meets Standards on most recent evaluation
• No disciplinary actions in the last six months
• Must be comfortable working independently
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Work may require stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, and / or pulling.

• Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.

• Work environment is not temperature controlled and may result in exposure to extreme temperatures.

• Work primarily involves standing, up to 4 hours at a time.
• Must be able to work with hands above shoulders for extended periods of time
• Work does require repetitive motions
