About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Asset Optimisation Analyst to join the Guinness Team. This is a permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week vacancy based in either our London or Oldham office. We are currently working to a hybrid working style.
The overall purpose of this role is to evaluate the performance of our homes and recommend strategic initiatives that enhance value for money ensuring accuracy, clarity and alignment with service delivery targets and strategic goals.

You’ll be able to demonstrate
Essential:
- Proven experience of completing evaluations of assets and option appraisals to improve asset performance.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI and SQL.
- Experience in working with housing and/or asset management database systems.
- Proven track record of data analysis to drive improvements in value for money, systems, processes, products and customer satisfaction.
- Previous experience of managing and motivating teams.
- Financially literate with experience of conducting/commissioning financial analysis.
- An understanding of property portfolio management and the scenarios in which assets may be sub-optimally utilised.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good analytical skills and shows attention to detail.
- Awareness of methodologies for planning asset reinvestment, including collation and analysis of stock data.
- Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
Desirable:
- Good knowledge of Python.
- Understanding and awareness of the RP sector, either through comparable roles or having worked as an adviser to RPs.
- Demonstrable understanding of the wider property market and opportunities available to RPs.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Educated to degree level standard (or equivalent) in computing/data/statistics related subject.
Desirable:
- Educated to Level 4 (Construction, Real Estate or Finance) or higher
- Chartered Surveyor or equivalent.
