Quantexa is seeking an experienced AI Strategy & Governance Specialist on a 6-month fixed-term contract to play a critical role in shaping and executing our AI strategy. This individual will collaborate with various departments to identify optimal AI tools and oversee governance forums that drive thoughtful discussion around tool selection and use cases. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the AI landscape and be adept at aligning AI initiatives with business goals.  

Requirements

What you’ll be doing.

  • Develop, implement, and refine a comprehensive AI strategy that aligns with company objectives. 
  • Facilitate governance forums to evaluate and select the most suitable AI tools and technologies. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential AI use cases that can drive business value. 
  • Monitor and analyse AI trends to ensure our strategy remains at the cutting edge. 
  • Create and maintain documentation and frameworks to guide AI tool selection and use case development. 
  • Establish and maintain ethical guidelines and best practices for AI use across the organization. 
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on AI opportunities and trends. 
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on Strategy development and approach. 

What you’ll bring.

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing AI strategies in a software or technology environment. 
  • Extensive knowledge of AI tools and technologies in the market. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply them to AI initiatives. 
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with experience running governance forums or similar collaborative meetings. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and engage with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • A strategic mindset with a focus on aligning AI initiatives with broader business goals. 
  • Ability to be flexible and comfortable in a fast-moving results-orientated environment. 
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work on own initiative and offer new ideas. 
  • Strong team-working skills and a desire to be part of and contribute to the success of a fast-growing organisation. 
  • Personal commitment to improving one’s own knowledge and sharing best practice with colleagues.
