General Regulatory Compliance Lead presso Corpay

Your role

The Regulatory Compliance Team Lead position is responsible for complex, sensitive and often transformative processes to safeguard and support the Corpay Cross-Border Business. The Team Lead will help develop strategy, oversees the execution of processes and the associated team members responsible for meeting certain business objectives and SLAs. The Team Lead will have governance over associated regulatory processes and will directly interact with senior level cross-functional stakeholders related to Regulatory Compliance. The Regulatory Team Lead will help manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds and demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.

What you'll be doing

• Regulatory Compliance Testing Procedures
  • Own, design/refine, and manage Regulatory Compliance Programs, including but not limited to strategy, roadmap and controls to address regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, train and mentor a team responsible for conducting comprehensive reviews globally.
  • Undertake, and oversee, daily monitoring and management of safeguarding obligations, assessing client activity to ensure funds are appropriately protected and obligations are consistently met.
  • Engage cross-functionally (with groups such as NA, EMEA, and APAC  compliance teams), as well as the Financial Intelligence Unit and Global Advisory) to establish global processes, standards, documentation and test plans.
  • Assist with special projects as needed, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Lead and provide guidance to Regulatory Compliance Analysts and a potential growing team.
  • Define strategy for implementation and enhancement of the Testing Program and team.
  • Develop Global Compliance reporting structure to provide transparency across global and regional Compliance functions.
  • Define and implement compliance standards, best practices, and processes.
  • Proactively problem-solve and translate complex regulatory and policy requirements into practical business solutions.
  • Drive a proactive change management approach.
  • Develop frameworks for and project-manage execution of effective change management processes. Report on progress.
  • Design and implement improvements in communication, monitoring, and enforcement of compliance standards.
  • Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation and discuss emerging compliance issues with stakeholders.
  • Prepare management reports regarding regulatory compliance operations and progress.
• Projects
  • Assist in ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned by Chief Regulatory Officer, the Head of Reg Compliance & Risk, APAC Compliance Director, Global Regulatory team and the Head of Operations.
  • Lead and coordinate the design and development of analytics for complex projects involving broad and varied subject matter.
  • Develop and present a wide range of complex visualizations and data analysis results and findings to Compliance management and internal/external audiences.
  • Develop actionable Compliance intelligence that illuminates existing and emerging risk trends to inform senior management.
  • Responsible for the support and development of various Compliance intelligence dashboards.
  • Effectively communicates observations to various level of management.
  • Mentor, coach, and train new and existing team members when needed. May participate in hiring new staff.
  • Miscellaneous projects or duties as assigned.
