About the role

Reporting into the Technical operations Manager in Darwin, we are seeking a proactive Team Lead with IT experience for our Technical Operations Team. To be successful in this role you will bring with you a minimal of 3 years relevant experience in a leadership role as well as experience in an enterprise environment. You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills at all levels as well as a proactive approach to your job.

Duties

• Day to day resource management of direct reports (performance/KPI/issues/Leave) along with approval of timesheets, overtime and on call rostering

• Provide leadership and guidance to the team relating to fault finding methodologies, customer management and problem resolutions 

• Manage and handle escalations of incidents/service request

• Drive system improvement activities

Skills & Experience

• Extensive Customer Service experience in an ICT Service environment

• Excellent customer relationship skills

• Professional communication skills with the ability to communicate to a diverse audience

• Previous experience in provision of technology support/guidance to technical resources

• Ability and willingness to coach, adapt and motivate staff members

• Microsoft technologies experience including SCCM, A/D, Microsoft desktop platforms etc.

• Hands on experience in supporting ICT technologies

• Understanding of ICT Security concepts

• Ability and willingness to work in a large enterprise environment

Qualifications Desirable:

• Diploma of Leadership and Management

• Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or similar

• ITIL Foundation certified
