About the role
Reporting into the Technical operations Manager in Darwin, we are seeking a proactive Team Lead with IT experience for our Technical Operations Team. To be successful in this role you will bring with you a minimal of 3 years relevant experience in a leadership role as well as experience in an enterprise environment. You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills at all levels as well as a proactive approach to your job.
Duties
Day to day resource management of direct reports (performance/KPI/issues/Leave) along with approval of timesheets, overtime and on call rostering
Provide leadership and guidance to the team relating to fault finding methodologies, customer management and problem resolutions
Manage and handle escalations of incidents/service request
Drive system improvement activities
Skills & Experience
Extensive Customer Service experience in an ICT Service environment
Excellent customer relationship skills
Professional communication skills with the ability to communicate to a diverse audience
Previous experience in provision of technology support/guidance to technical resources
Ability and willingness to coach, adapt and motivate staff members
Microsoft technologies experience including SCCM, A/D, Microsoft desktop platforms etc.
Hands on experience in supporting ICT technologies
Understanding of ICT Security concepts
Ability and willingness to work in a large enterprise environment
Qualifications Desirable:
Diploma of Leadership and Management
Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or similar
ITIL Foundation certified
