SAP Commerce Developer

Job Overview:

SAP Commerce Cloud developers design, develop, and maintain e-commerce solutions using the SAP Commerce platform, focusing on core functionalities like product catalogs, order management, and promotions. They integrate the platform with other systems, customize the user experience, optimize performance, and troubleshoot technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver incremental projects on the SAP Commerce platform to support business needs and requirements
• Helps integrate developed solutions with upstream UI solutions and downstream ERP platforms
• Translate functional requirements into product features and deliver the optimal solution
• Work within IT cross-functionally and with vendors/partners, to successfully identify, prioritize, and resolve issues and provide subject matter expertise with development activities, enhancement requests and operational improvements
• Partner with Architects and Product Owner to maintain technology roadmap of SAP Commerce platform and evaluate future implications, limitations, and opportunities
• Work with Project Managers and Scrum Masters to manage expectations with internal and external stakeholders
• Regularly engage with solution architects, service owners and clients to understand and deliver business opportunities
• Identify technical and process improvement opportunities and socialize/advocate to get them implemented
• Explore new commercial solutions and ideation of new business opportunities
• Participate in cross-organizational strategic initiatives
  
  

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing both B2B and B2C eCommerce applications using SAP Hybris, SAP Commerce or Commerce Cloud
• Hands-on experience with SAP CPQ (Callidus Cloud). Solution Sales Configuration (SSC) experience preferred
• Hands-on experience with search using Apache Solr, integration using Datahub/SCPI/hot-folders, industry accelerators, Spartacus, and other standard Hybris modules
• 7+ years' experience developing multi-tier web applications
• Experience programming in Java, JSP/Servlets, Spring framework, and JavaScript
• 3+ years' experience in delivering solutions using Agile methodology
• Solid foundation in cloud-native development practices, CI/CD patterns, DevOps practices and tools
• Proficient in using cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
