The Sanitation Lead at Cheryl's Cookies is accountable having a strong working knowledge of company SSOPs and GMPs and lead a team of Sanitation Associates around the responsibilities of machine cleaning, understanding the flow of the sanitation process and identifying any quality issues with the sanitation of all machines in Food Production Facility. This is a 3rd Shift opportunity, so the individual in this role works 5 days per week from 8:00pm- 4:30am.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Train Sanitation Associates regarding cleaning operations using the work instructions included in the Information Manuel in each area.
• During each shift, ensure that associates are working in their assigned area, and that they leave and return from breaks and lunches on time.
• Confirm associates are dressed properly to work in area, follow all Cheryl’s GMPs, and have the correct PPE gear on to follow safety protocol.
• Set tone in each area – interaction and communication should be positive and clearly communicated & understood by associates in each area.
• Identify training opportunities within current Sanitation team, and provide feedback & coaching when procedures are not being followed.
• Follow instruction from Supervisors on what areas need to be cleaned and how slow or fast to clean them to ensure team is cleaning as efficiently as possible.
• Inspect every machine to see that it has been cleaned properly and swab the machine to make sure that it is safe to produce product.
