Primary Objectives of Position:
Trans Ova Genetics is seeking motivated Embryo Sales Intern to represent our advanced reproductive technologies across key cattle markets in the U.S. This internship offers immersive sales training, hands-on experience with embryo transfer and IVF services, and direct collaboration with Regional Business Managers, Dairy Consultants and senior leadership. Interns will engage with producers, support client education, and contribute to expanding Trans Ova’s reach by promoting genetic solutions that drive herd improvement and reproductive efficiency.
This intern will be frequently traveling across the United States to other TOG locations and visiting clients.
Major Areas of Accountability:
Represent Trans Ova Genetics professionally at livestock shows, trade events, and on-farm visits
Initiate and maintain meaningful conversations with producers to understand their herd goals
Assist in marketing and selling embryo transfer, IVF, and genetic services
Educate clients on the benefits of Trans Ova’s reproductive technologies
Gain an understanding of Hubspot to log client interactions
Participation in Trans Ova Satellite reviews discussing site performance, improvements and recommendations
Work with RBMs, DCs, CSR and PSTs to understand full-service delivery
Participate in team meetings
Participate in brand cross selling events
Provide detailed feedback on the summer experience, customer and prospect feedback as well as needs within the industry
Qualifications:
Enrolled in college majoring in Animal Science, Agriculture communications or related field.
Basic understanding of cattle reproduction, including embryo transfer, in vitro fertilization and donor and recipient management.
Prior experience working with beef for dairy producers is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interactions
Interest or experience in sales or customer service
Willingness to learn and develop both personally and professionally.
Computer skills are required; and ability to work with herd management software is a plus.
Ability to represent the Trans Ova brand professionally at all times.
