Hunt Electric, Inc. is searching for a full-time Licensed Electrical Superintendent to join our team. Can you plan, design, organize, and execute electrical construction projects? Our Electrical Superintendent may oversee the projects from the award of the project to the final construction. The position requires a high level of customer service to build and maintain relationships. Experience with electrical construction is required.
Major Duties:
- Have previously successfully supervised projects with crews ranging from 20+ personnel, meeting safety, quality, and production goals.
- Diplomatically manage the crews and provide appropriate training, positive and constructive feedback.
- Plan and layout the project including planned installation material take-off quantities and tool needs based on the project schedule.
- Establish a site-specific safety plan, evaluate project risks to personnel and equipment to mitigate them.
- Understand, review and implement the installation per the contract drawings and specifications.
- Evaluate the contracted scope of work with the PM to determine change requests and schedule effect.
- Plan the project’s material, equipment, and labor needs for timely arrival to and from the site.
- Monitor daily progress to the short term and long-term schedules to meet commitments. Provide daily written documentation of activities and obstacles.
- Conduct and participate in project meetings as needed and provide necessary trade coordination.
- Coordinate and communicate with the PM and purchasing manager with detailed material requisitions, and delivery schedules.
- Establish and implement prefab project-specific tasks.
- Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.
- Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
- Superior internal and external communication and interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) with the ability to be a leader by acknowledging contributions by others.
- Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current Colorado Journeyman license.
- Seven plus years of installation experience with the latest electrical code, means, and methods.
- Be able to apply the latest technological techniques to maximize employee safety, quality, and production.
- Have moderate to high-level computer skills including Outlook, Bluebeam, Word, and Excel.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to lift 100lbs.
- Have safety training related to electrical and general construction such as OSHA 30 hour, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR, scissor lift, forklift, Lock Out/Tag Out, and trade-specific.

Competitive salary commensurate with experience ($48.50-$55.00 per Hour). Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Hunt Electric, Inc. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate. Participation in the Company bonus programs for each plan year are subject to management recommendation and internal committee review.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm.
