District Operations Manager  

 

As a District Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations of assigned districts. Your goal will be to optimize assets, resources, expenses, customer base as well as accountability for the exploration and production performance of their district.Your success will be delivering high-performing, cost-effective operations across all districts while fostering strong teams, exceeding customer expectations, and aligning with strategic business goals

Your Responsibilities:   

  • Ensures alignment of team, individual and process goals, focusing on change and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve business objectives 

  • Demonstrates safety leadership as a core value to all employees by instilling a culture of safety throughout New England   

  • Holds management team accountable to operate within their approved budgets 

  • Provides clear direction by establishing and regularly communicating performance expectations and results with the team and takes appropriate actions to address issues as and when they arise 

  • Celebrates successes and acknowledges disappointments in such a way that they motivate an even higher level of commitment and performance 

  • Accountable for Economic Profit for district through improving the overall business efficiencies 

  • Makes things happen, will take considered risks to achieve objectives through action oriented focused goals and objectives 

  • Builds trust and support through active networking with other departments 

  • Ensure business reliability through managing all health, safety and environmental programs and issues in region 

  • Ensure the safety of employees and customers by providing leadership and ensuring safe work procedures and code standards are followed 

 

Your Skills:   

  • Analytical capabilities and extreme attention to accuracy  and the ability work in a time sensitive and fast paced environment

  • Highly accountable for the success of business objectives    

  • Patience required when dealing with a variety of audiences, being responsive to other’s needs 

  • Fast-paced environment that needs quick decision-making and multitasking capabilities  

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written along with presentation skills 

  • Strong interpersonal skills   and a high sense of urgency is a necessity

  • Well-developed analytical and relationship building skills along with high level customer service experience

Experience 

  • Post secondary education in business and/or equivalent experience with a customer service background 

  • 3-5 years of experience in operations and/or customer service  

  • 5 years industry related management experience
