Your Role

This role focuses on designing and delivering insightful Excel dashboards and templates powered by data from leading business systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics, QuickBooks, and NetSuite. You’ll research and apply industry-standard KPIs across Sales, Marketing, and Finance, collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure scalable integrations, and continuously refine templates based on user feedback. The position blends strong analytical skills, Excel expertise, and a user-first mindset to help customers unlock actionable insights..

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Excel dashboards and templates powered by data from Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, QuickBooks, Stripe, and NetSuite. Deliver clean, insightful layouts tailored to use cases such as Sales Pipeline Health, Marketing ROI, and Financial KPIs.
• Research industry-standard KPIs (e.g., SaaS: MRR, churn, LTV; Marketing: CAC, ROAS, conversion; Finance: P&L metrics) and ensure templates reflect best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers on requirements gathering, backlog grooming, and user story definition.
• Work with Engineering to define how templates connect via ExtendInsights connectors, ensuring a simple and scalable setup for customers.
• Iterate on templates based on beta user feedback — observe how real users interact with them and continuously improve clarity, usefulness, and performance.
• Create documentation and short how-to guides to support customer adoption and customization.
• Stay current with new Excel features (Power Query, advanced formulas, Office Scripts) and SaaS reporting capabilities, applying them to improve our template library.
• Contribute to broader product initiatives beyond dashboards, supporting research and requirements across our product suite and future roadmap priorities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, BI Analyst, or in roles such as Marketing Analyst, Sales Ops Analyst, or Financial Analyst with hands-on reporting/dashboard creation responsibilities.
• Strong Excel expertise (pivot tables, complex formulas, charting). Power Query or Office Scripts knowledge is a plus.
• Domain knowledge in at least two areas: SaaS subscription metrics, Marketing Analytics, Sales Funnel/Pipeline, Finance/Accounting.
• Experience collaborating with Business, Product, and Engineering teams on requirements and product delivery.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex data into intuitive insights.
• Creative and user-focused, with empathy for end users and an eye for dashboard usability and design.

Desired Skills and Attributes

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, charting; Power Query/Office Scripts a plus)
• Hands-on dashboard/reporting experience with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, QuickBooks, Stripe, and NetSuite
• Strong knowledge of SaaS, Marketing, Sales, and Finance KPIs (e.g., MRR, churn, CAC, ROAS, LTV, pipeline health, P&L metrics)
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, user-friendly reporting templates
