What you can expect to do as a Credit Clerk:
- Account Receivables (post payments, process debits & credit, etc.…)
- Process credit card payments
- Process electronic checks
- Work closely with Banks (Wires/ACH’s)
- Help with yearly audits (accounting)
- Update and maintain current customers credit files.
- Process and track new credit applications (pull D&B’s & obtain references)
- Resolve Collection issues by examining customer payment history, credit line and coordinate contact.
- Communicate with credit analyst on releasing customer credit holds.
- Administrative duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Punctuality and regularity of attendance are a requirement.
What we are looking for in Credit Clerk:
- High School Degree or equivalent, College degree is a plus
- Previous Account Receivable, Credit and Collection experience
- Ability to pay great attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Basic accounting techniques.
- Strong Computer and financial software skills IE: Microsoft office/data entry
- Customer service experience.
