Title: Occupational Therapist

Pay Range: $50.00/hr 

Schedule:  Monday-Friday flexible days (10-12 hours/week)

FLSA: Non Exempt

What You’ll Do:
BAMSI offers nine Day Habilitation Centers located at pleasant and friendly sites throughout Massachusetts. Each location is fully handicap accessible and conveniently located near community resources. Due to the range of individual needs of those attending Day Habilitation Centers provide an array of services to ensure that each person’s unique needs and goals are met. Each person served has an individually designed service plan that outlines his or her supports, needs and personal goals. The plan is structured to encourage independence, enhance social activity, and improve the quality of individuals’ lives.

  • Evaluate the Occupational Therapy needs of person served in a site based day habilitation program.
  • Perform Occupational Therapy Assessments.
  • Make recommendations for suggested equipment and exercise programs. 

 

What You Bring: 

  • Valid Occupational Therapist License.
  • Experience providing services to individuals with disabilities
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with mobility (bending, standing, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills (English) and basic computer proficiency.
  • Compassion, patience, and a commitment to trauma-informed care.
  • Bonus: Lived experience or multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese).
