Position Overview:The SiteOne Supply Chain and OpEx organization is searching for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team, with a focus on Delivery. The ideal candidate will be a key member within the business function, capable of identifying meaningful connections in data, identify trends, and suggest insights in support of business decisions. They are an expert in BI and data transformation within SQL, able to define and align partners on new KPIs, and drive a project from start to finish while influencing others.
What You'll Do:
- Proactively analyze data to identify areas of opportunity and provide business recommendations
- Leverage Power BI to build new reports, which tell a story with data and drive action from field and field support leaders.
- Part of a larger team with overall responsibility for business intelligence and analytics, will be leveraged as an experienced developer within the data community.
- Project Management, capable of defining and recommending key cost/benefit drivers, leading/supporting cross functional teams to scope problems/opportunities, develop potential solutions, and reach consensus on the path forward.
- Develop and deliver robust weekly, monthly and quarterly KPI’s that cover supply chain, financial, inventory, transportation, and service level measures against stated goals.
- Play an integral role in the development, implementation, and execution of broader business intelligence strategy.
- Perform Ad hoc data analysis.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or data analytics related field
- 4+ years of working experience
- Broad understanding of SQL for analytics and data transformation (Microsoft SQL Server)
- Advance Experience with leveraging data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Experience leveraging DAX in the creation of measures and building effective visualizations
- Experience developing repeatable analytics to identify opportunities and gauge success against those opportunities
- Sense of curiosity with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong influencing and communication skills
- Polished written and verbal communication
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize workload and communicate timing and challenges
- Desire to “roll up your sleeves”, disaggregate complex problems and simplify into executable solutions
- A track record of following through on commitments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- Operational experience in Delivery or Fleet Management
