ECS is offering an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to join our Southwest Facilities team in Dallas, TX. In this role, you’ll oversee projects involving inspections, testing, assessments, and commissioning of building enclosures for existing structures. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality consulting solutions to a diverse range of facilities and clients. - Primary responsibilities include providing technical expertise and supporting Facilities staff within the region
- Responsibilities also include performing the following:
- Overseeing projects related to:
- Inspections of Building Enclosures
- Building Enclosure Testing
- Building Enclosure Assessments
- Air Leakage Testing
- Construction Quality Assurance Observations
- Roofing Assessments
- Design Specification Review
- Field Performance Testing
- Building Enclosure Commissioning Consulting
- Performing technical report reviews
- Preparing and reviewing proposals
- Business development and assisting other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions
- Leading and coaching junior staff members
- Performing responsibilities at regional level
- Overseeing projects related to:
- BS or MS in Civil Engineering Architecture (NCARB), Civil (Structural) Engineering, or Architectural Engineering preferred
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Licensed or certified as at least one of the following:
- Professional Engineer (P.E.), Registered Architect (R.A.), International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) offered RRC, RWC, REWC, RBEC, CBECxP, University of Wisconsin‐Madison offered BECxP and CxA+BE
- Candidates must have achieved previous designation as Principal at ECS or hold similar designation from competitor firm
