Wood is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Support Engineer to support our client’s Operations and Maintenance team on fixed term contract role.
Hybrid working - 3 days working from Aberdeen
Responsibilities
The Role
You will be working in the functional Maintenance team in UK upstream team supporting various projects & clients.
The Maintenance Team who own the Maintenance and CMMS processes, are a small but focused part of the central Asset Support Team, instrumental to delivering key business priorities of Safety, Production Excellence, and Cost Optimisation across the six facilities of SUKEP’s Onshore and Offshore portfolio (initially as detailed above).
The role is focused on the delivery of the SOV Maintenance execution strategy and Maintenance Improvement plans to meet the intent of the client’s SEAM standards associated with the Perform Maintenance Execution (PME); Manage Asset Case (MAC); and Perform Turnarounds (PTA) processes. The intent of the Maintenance process is to maintain our equipment as effectively and efficiently as possible, making sure it performs as intended, at the lowest possible cost.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Supporting the SOV Site Process Owner for PME and the Maintenance Execution Process and Systems Lead in actively driving the improvement opportunity themes and simplifications identified at the PME Roadshows. Collaboration with the front-line Maintenance delivery team improvement owners to ensure sustained implementation and continued focus on process simplification
- Working closely with the Reliability Team to deliver the Reliability improvement plan and must wins
- Supporting the SOV Turnaround activities and gaining alignment in the processes being deployed to reduce rework
- Analysing data from maintenance performance tracking tools to identify interventions required
- Working across the SEAM processes (PME/IAPS/MSC/MAC/PTA) to deliver a culture of continuous improvement to these processes, communicating best practice, specifically aligning the data in IMS and SAP driving improvement where the inspection dates in IMS and the agreed corrective maintenance due dates are reflected in SAP, removing the rework of manually updating of dates
- Support deployment of efficiency saving game changing technology and digital solutions to improve front line maintenance
- Drive the remote Planning and Process Integration improvement initiative activities with SBO Material Analysts in Krakow and the TAS Work Planning and Scheduling Teams in Chennai
- Use data and systems to identify and drive improvements in work execution productivity, in pursuit of Must Win targets of CM reduction and $UOC
HSSE
- Visibly demonstrate Safety Leadership and set clear expectations through the organisation to manage Asset Integrity, Availability, Reliability through application of systems and procedures
- Ensure changes to the maintenance system meet the mandatory HSSE Control Framework and local laws and regulatory requirements
Leadership
- Role model the HSSE behaviours and the Leadership Framework with a Learner’s mindset focus in the Maintenance and Inspection Team with a strong personal commitment and visible leadership in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
- Support standardisation and simplification across all Maintenance and supporting processes
- Support the facility HSEx Inspections and provide independent support on maintenance activities
- Steering the virtual team in TAS to operationalise the Maintenance Execution process; Proactive Technical Monitoring (PTM) and predictive maintenance teams
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with all internal front line maintenance execution teams to ensure understanding and identification of simplification and improvements
- Understanding challenges experienced during front line Maintenance planning and execution, to empathise with customers in providing coaching
