You will enjoy having this responsibility:

As a Senior Design Authority you will enjoy having this responsibility if you are passionate about defining system concepts, representing innovation at a European level, translating complex requirements into architecture, coordinating international workshops, and contributing strategically across multiple domains

It also involves the following tasks:

• You lead the definition of technological concepts and system requirements in alignment with European standardization programs

• You represent Hitachi Rail GTS’s innovation strategy in front of the European Railway Joint Undertaking (ERJU)

• Analyzing customer requirements and translating them into system specifications and security concepts is also part you of your tasks

• You design feature-based architectures and model system functions using SYSML

• You enjoy coordinating technical workshops and collaborating internationally with internal and external stakeholders

• Your responsibilities and role are complemented by contributing to cost estimations, engaging in strategic planning, and actively participatin in expert committees and working groups

You have:

• You hold a technical degree, ideally in railway signaling, air traffic management, informatics, data science or AI

• You bring extensive experience in traffic management systems within the railway domain

• You are skilled in system modeling, architecture definition, and requirements engineering tools like DOORS or Polarion

• You communicate fluently in English and understand the complexity of railway operations

• You are a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to manage complexity
