The resource will be responsible for fabric quality control activities and for verifying the correct shade and consistency of colours, supporting the Product Development and Supply Chain teams. The main objective is to ensure that all materials meet the company’s quality and colour standards, from development to bulk delivery.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections on fabrics, both incoming and in-process.
- Verify colour matching against approved samples and company standards.
- Monitor and report fabric defects or non-conformities (shade, hand-feel, structure, finishing).
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product Development, Purchasing, Production) to manage and resolve quality and colour issues.
- Liaise with suppliers and production partners to ensure compliance with company requirements.
- Support the preparation and updating of quality and colour specifications.
- Ensure deliveries meet the established quality standards and deadlines.
Requirements
- Education preferably in textiles, chemistry or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
- Good knowledge of textile dyeing and finishing processes.
- Basic understanding of fabric constructions and main fabric categories.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and suppliers.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
