We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Global Infrastructure Windows OS Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining the global Windows server infrastructure standard services. You will ensure the stability, scalability, and security of the Windows operating systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business objectives. This is a critical role in driving the modernization of our infrastructure and enhancing operational efficiency across the organization.  
 
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    Percent of Time 
Infrastructure Windows Design & Implementation: 
•    Design scalable and resilient Windows infrastructure solutions to support business operations. This includes OS lifecycle designs & plans for operations 
•    Collaborate with architecture teams to develop and execute global infrastructure strategies.  
•    Cloud Integration: Create Windows OS platform with our hybrid cloud environments, integrating Windows systems with platforms like Microsoft Azure and AWS.      30% 
Performance Monitoring & Optimization of Windows Platform 
•    Provide direction to operations to properly monitor Windows OS system performance. Assist operations in troubleshooting escalated issues to ensure high availability and reliability.  
•    Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to optimize system performance in future OS designs.      15% 
Security & Compliance:  
•    Ensure Windows environments comply with organizational security policies and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).  
•          Work closely with cybersecurity teams to identify vulnerabilities and design mitigations. 
•          Oversee MSP monthly patching remediation     15% 
Automation & Scripting:  
•    Develop and maintain Windows OS Platform service automation (PowerShell, Python, etc.) for task automation, system monitoring, and configuration management.  
•    Leverage automation tools to streamline processes and reduce manual intervention.     20% 
Collaboration & Support:  
•    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network, storage, and application teams, to deliver end-to-end infrastructure Windows platform solutions.  
•    Provide advanced technical support and guidance to IT and IT/OT teams      20%

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE  

Education: 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).  
Preferred Qualifications: 
•    Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSE, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent).  
•    Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.  
•    Familiarity with ITIL practices and change management processes.  
Experience: 
•    5+ years of hands-on experience in Windows Server administration and infrastructure engineering in a global environment.  
•    Proven experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.  
•    Solid understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).  
 
 
 
 
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS 
•    Expertise in Windows Server operating systems (2016/2019/2022/2025).  
•    Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and task automation.  
•    Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid cloud environments.  
•    Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix).   
•    Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions.  
•    Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewalls.  
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. 
 
PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS 
This role requires working in a global environment, occasionally outside regular business hours to support infrastructure deployments or critical issues. 0-5% Travel may be required.  Hybrid Work - Tuesday to Thursday in office
