Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Custodian located in Dallas, Texas.
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the office building and manufacturing production floor.
Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
What a typical day looks like:
- Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas such as offices, restrooms, hallways, and break room areas using cleaning supplies and equipment
- Removes and disposes of trash according to proper protocols
- Floor maintenance includes sweeping and mopping, and use of Zamboni floor cleaning machine
- Maintains cleaning and maintenance supplies in a neat and orderly manner
- Keep a running inventory of all cleaning supplies and submitting purchase requests when supplies get low
- Complete all other related duties as assigned
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 years of experience in a related capacity.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform work accurately
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions
- Ability to keep the facility clean and orderly
- Ability to interact with staff and visitors while remaining professional, polite, and courteous
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing
- Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 30 pounds at a time
- Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor
