We are looking for a Platform Engineer with a solid background in working with Hyland OnBase software. Individuals for this specific role should have technical and analytical skills aimed at enhancing document and image management processes and improving operational efficiency at Texas Capital. This position will be vital in ensuring Texas Capital’s content management systems are robust, user-friendly, and compliant with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Implement Software Solutions: Maintain ECM (OnBase or other) modules and manage system upgrades and patches to ensure optimal performance.

• Support Client Needs: Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise, providing support to users and ensuring that the solutions meet business requirements and comply with banking regulations.

• Workflow Automation: Design and implement automated processes (within OnBase or other ECM software) that streamline firm’s operations, usually involving multi-level workflows.

• API Development: Utilize API to create and customize functionalities using programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and HTML, which helps in automation and integration with other systems.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Work directly with business owners to gather requirements, develop product roadmaps, and ensure that ECM solutions align with organizational goals.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system changes, upgrades, and user support interactions, which helps in audit readiness and compliance with banking regulations.

• Quality Control: Develop and execute test plans to validate system changes and ensure stability before deployment.

• Continuous Improvement: Assess current processes and suggest improvements based on best practices and user feedback to optimize the use of ECM solution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience working with enterprise content management platforms, preferably Hyland OnBase.

• Technical Skills

• Proficient in configuring and managing:

• Processors: COLD, CHECK, PDF COLD, DIP, Keyword, Retention/Purge

• Custom Queries, Keywords, Keyword Sets, Autofill

• Directory Service Authentication

• OnBase Clients: Unity Client, Web Client, Unity Management Console, Web Application Management Console, Configuration Console, Studio

• Experience with OnBase API integrations

• Strong programming skills in VBScript, C#, SQL, PowerShell

• Workflow Lifecycles, Repositories, and Integration Services

• Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as Diagnostics Console, Wireshark, and Fiddle

• Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships across all levels of the organization

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including data interpretation and visualization

• Analytical thinker with a results-driven mindset and strong problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio, SQL Server Management Studio)

• Knowledge of monitoring practices relevant to enterprise technology environments

• Self-motivated and adaptable; thrives in fast-paced, dynamic settings and works well independently or as part of a team

Certifications (Preferred)

• OnBase Certified Systm Administrator

• OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator

• OnBase Certified API Developer

• OnBase Certified Installer
