Product Dumper - 2nd Shift presso Waynefarms

PAY: $18.35/hour + $1,500 Sign & Stay Bonus

WORK SCHEDULE: 1:45 PM - 10:53 PM

BENEFITS: Available first day of hire

PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Product Dumper is responsible for dumping cages of birds onto belt and may perform a wide variety of poultry processing related tasks as they rotate on the production line.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:    
•   Use hand gears to bring cages down rollers to dump. 
•    Move cage onto another set of rollers.
•    Carry empty cage out to be picked up by forklift operator.
•    Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors, coworkers
•    Do all tasks assigned by members of management
•    Must be able to follow directions and work in other departments as needed.
•    Must be able to perform additional duties as assigned.
 

EDUCATION and CERTIFICATIONS: 
•    High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
•    Previous poultry experience preferred 

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
•    Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs
•    Wear required protective equipment in all areas where mandatory

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
•    Ability to work in a wet and cold environment 
•    Ability to work in hot environment
•    Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
•    Will be exposed to noise and moving equipment
