Nursing Assistant - New Graduates with Certifications presso Temple University Health System / Jeanes Hospital

Full Time or Per Diem Hours available for new graduates

Full Time Schedule is 3/12s, 7p-7:30a, weekends and holidays required (rotating and based on department need). 

Per Diem Schedule is a minimum of 36 hours per 6 week schedule, (3) 12 hour shifts. At least 24 hours of the 36 hour commitment must be scheduled on the weekend. Weekends begin on Saturday at 7:00am and extend through Monday at 7:30am. All Per Diem employees will be required to work (1) holiday per year (must be Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s). All holiday scheduling is based on department needs. - Must maintain all mandatory requirements

Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities. Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Trade School Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation Required or
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Experience
1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role Preferred

Licenses
Basic Life Support Required
Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
