The Impact You'll Make
Danfoss is hiring a Global MES & Machine Controls Specialist to work at our site in Tallahassee, FL. Develops and implements new machine control and MES standards in global locations for Danfoss Turbocor.
What You’ll Be Doing
Duties:
- Work with system integrators to develop the future standard for PLC control systems for the Danfoss Turbocor group;
- Work closely with the global IT team to implement the MES system while acting as the Voice of Manufacturing from DTC;
- Analyze schedules to ensure the most efficient use of resources and accurate finish dates for assigned projects;
- Work closely with all manufacturing locations to develop the DTC standard for machine control systems.
- 30% domestic/international travel.
What We're Looking For
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Automation/Control Engineering Technology.
• 5 years working with MES systems, specifically with SIT/Ops Center and/or Critical Manufacturing.
• 5 years implementing Industry 4.0 and the Connected Factory concepts within an organization.
• 3 years managing/implementing site wide PLC control standardization within a factory environment.
• 1 year in an Industrial/Manufacturing operations role with supervisory responsibility.
Salary: $135,000-140,000 per year
Hours: 40 hours per week
