We are seeking an experienced Leasing Agent to join our team to serve our apartment communities and single-family residences. Properties are at N Buckner Blvd, Dallas Texas. Please note that this is currently a Full-Time position. Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. Must be able to work a few evenings per week to conduct property showings.

The Leasing Agent is the first point of contact for prospective residents, therefore, we are looking for someone with an outgoing personality who will be able to provide exceptional customer service and a high level of professionalism. The Leasing Agent is responsible for touring and presenting the community/property in a compelling way and assisting prospective residents with finding the right home, resulting in a high closing ratio.


Requirements

Here are some of the key responsibilities of this position:

· Prepare property description and post property listing online.

· Review traffic reports and provide client weekly updates on activity for any listings.

· Follow up with prospective renters.

· Stay current on the South Bay leasing market by performing market surveys and visiting local competitive properties.

· Make sure homes/apartments are ready for show. Physically inspect property to ensure that it best represents the standards of the community prior to each leasing day.

· Prepare lease forms and agreements, collect security deposit and first month’s rent.

· Perform move-in inspections with new tenant.

· Meet with Prospective Clients to see their property and give them your professional opinion on what it can rent for.

· Must be able to work some evenings and every Saturday to conduct property showings.

· Prepare Service Issues for any work that needs to be done at the property prior to leasing it.

· Take pictures for all listings.


Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:

· Industry experience with a proven track record of high closing ratio, or related experience.

· Strong sales, marketing and customer service experience.

· Good organizational and time management skills.

· Team player & works well independently

· Proficient understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite. Some property management software experience preferred.

· Ability to read and write and speak English.

· Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance and social security card, demonstrating eligibility to work in the United States

COMPENSATION:

Starting compensation is $15-$19/hour plus leasing bonuses
