About the Department
JOB GOAL
The Part-Time Evaluation Team Member at Pasco Hernando State College (PHSC) is responsible for data entry of essential student information, scanning and filing of records into the student information system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are not exhaustive but illustrate the general duties required of the position. Management may require personnel to perform duties other than those contained in this document.
- Evaluate student transfer documents for posting to student academic history.
- Post student transfer information to student academic history.
- Scan, count, and record receipt of college transcripts and other transfer credit documents, save to appropriate location to be evaluated.
- Review and enter data for course substitutions, petitions for credit, credit shortages, and similar documents. Scan all documents into WebXtender after processing is complete.
- Download Joint Service Transcripts (JSTs), attach standard memo, and send to the appropriate Academic Division. When the document(s) are returned, review and enter data into CSRS. Scan documents into WebXtender after processing.
- Scan documents into WebXtender for the Evaluation Team as needed.
- Send letters, emails, and communications on behalf of the Evaluation Team as needed.
- Other duties that may be required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Standard High School Diploma or GED
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Strong reading and writing abilities
- Legible handwriting
- Patience for repetitive tasks
- Ability to effectively engage with a diverse student population.
- Capacity to work independently, as well as collaboratively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and sound judgment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- At least one year working in a records department or similar department. Experience working with the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
