Senior Revenue Accountant presso Weave

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Revenue Accountant to play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our revenue operations. This position requires a solid foundation in ASC 606 revenue recognition, strong collaboration with cross-functional partners, and a commitment to maintaining controls and compliance in a dynamic, publicly traded company.

• This position will be hybrid based out of our Lehi, UT HQ.

• Reports to Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting

What You Will Own

• Revenue Recognition: Take ownership of assigned areas related to the accurate and timely recording of revenue transactions in compliance with ASC 606 and other relevant accounting standards.

• Close Process: Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, financial statement disclosures.

• Internal Controls: Perform and document internal controls over the order-to-cash cycle, ensuring data accuracy and completeness as required by Sarbanes-Oxley. As well as working with external auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Accountability: You take ownership of your work, follow through on commitments, and proactively seek ways to improve systems and processes under your care.

• Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, FP&A, Legal, and IT teams to provide reports and account for revenue transactions and contracts.

• Reporting: Prepare revenue reports and analyses for financial statement disclosures.

• Ad Hoc Projects: Support various Company projects, including mergers and acquisitions, system implementations, and process improvements.

• Continuous Improvement: Drive process and system improvements and provide guidance and support to team members.

What You Will Need to Accomplish the Job

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification preferred.

• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years related experience, preferably in an accounting role within a publicly traded SaaS company. Experience with Big 4 accounting firms is a plus.

• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606, and Sarbanes-Oxley. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Intacct), revenue automation software (e.g., Salesforce), understanding of data structure, SQL queries, and advanced Excel skills.

• Soft Skills: Demonstrates full ownership of assigned accounting functions, proactively managing deadlines and resolving discrepancies. Superior analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Highly driven and self-motivated. Effective communication skills, both written and oral. Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
