This role reports into our Macedon, NY headquarters and is hybrid reporting.
WHAT WE NEED
The Sr. Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting the management of the organization's financial resources to ensure liquidity, financial risk management, banking operations and financial growth. This role combines daily cash management with long-term financial strategy, supporting capital structure optimization and managing the company’s cash, bank accounts, cash reporting and cash flow forecasting. This role includes cross-functional collaboration with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Accounting and FP&A functions.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Daily Cash Management:
- Retrieve cash data from bank portal to include account balances and detailed cash flow activity
- Prepare daily cash analytics and update daily cash flow forecast to ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational and working capital needs
- Manage bank accounts, revolving credit facility and payment processing
- Ensure timely and accurate payment processing while managing compliance and adhering to key controls
- Financial Reporting, Presentations & Compliance:
- Prepare reports and dashboards on the company’s cash position, liquidity, revolving credit facility activity and financial transactions
- Support the build out of a new cash flow forecast framework, KPI dashboards and debt covenant modeling
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across financial reporting and operations
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, external regulations, and debt covenants
- Capital Structure & Risk Management:
- Support debt management activities, including timely execution of interest and principal payments
- Participate in the drafting and establishment of policies addressing financial risk management to include hedging strategies for interest rates, commodities, and foreign exchange
- Banking Operations:
- Manage bank administration activities, including maintenance of authorized signers, bank portal administration and opening and closing of bank accounts
- Track bank fees and identify opportunities for bank fee savings
- Support the Sr. Director, Treasury & Accounting in all banking relationship matters
- Treasury Policies & Procedures:
- Work with the Sr. Director, Treasury & Accounting in establishment and maintenance of treasury policies for cash management, payment processing, financial risk management and banking operations
- Take the lead in drafting and implementing standard operating procedures for cash management, cash flow forecasting, banking operations and payment processing
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CTP designation preferred
- A minimum of five (5+) years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or financial management. Preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge is a plus
- Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of financial operations
- Expertise in cash management, short-term investments, cash flow forecasting and financial modeling
- Proficient with treasury management systems and ERP platforms
- Strong analytical, technical and communication skills
