Job Description:

The Creative Manager is both a hands-on designer and the steward of Sonida’s visual identity, ensuring that all marketing materials reflect and elevate the brand. This role blends execution with strategic creative direction, designing professional-quality print and digital materials while leading efforts to maintain brand consistency across every touchpoint.

The Creative Manager partners closely with Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams, manages creative templates and asset libraries, and works with vendors to ensure materials are produced to the highest standard. This role requires a balance of responsiveness to incoming requests and proactive creative leadership to advance Sonida’s brand experience for residents, community teams, and corporate stakeholders.

Responsibilities: 

Creative Execution & Campaign Support

  • Design print and digital assets for campaigns, community marketing, events, and internal communications
  • Adapt creative for local market needs while upholding brand standards
  • Create graphics, layouts, and templates for email, web, and social media initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure visual storytelling aligns with marketing objectives

Brand Stewardship & Governance

  • Serve as the brand’s visual authority, ensuring all creative aligns with Sonida’s identity and tone
  • Refine existing templates and create new ones that improve efficiency and quality
  • Provide strategic creative direction that considers the needs of residents, community teams, and corporate stakeholders
  • Guide the consistent use of typography, color, imagery, and layout across all materials

Production & Asset Management

  • Prepare press-ready files, review proofs, and troubleshoot with print vendors as needed
  • Oversee creative assets within Ontrack and other storage platforms, ensuring organization and accessibility
  • Maintain and update image libraries, ensuring all files are optimized for use
  • Support occasional print production projects, balancing quality, timelines, and brand alignment
 

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in graphic design, creative production, or brand management, preferably in marketing, advertising, or branding
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Experience designing for both print and digital formats, including preparing press-ready files
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy and visual consistency
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
