About the Role
As a seasonal Guest Services Explorer, you’ll be part of the team welcoming guests to our aquarium, events, and one of our most anticipated seasonal celebrations. You’ll ensure every visitor enjoys the glowing magic of Lantern Fest, whether you’re assisting with tickets, guiding guests through dazzling displays, answering questions, supporting aquarium operations, or helping to keep the aquarium and event safe, clean and enjoyable.

- You’re dependable and flexible, ready to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (we’re closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas).
- You’re comfortable working outdoors for extended periods in winter weather.
No Experience? No Problem!
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds—no previous experience required! If you’ve worked in customer service before, that’s a big plus, but we’ll provide all the training you need to succeed. If you have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Welcoming and assisting guests with tickets and event check-ins.
- Guiding guests through event areas and answering questions.
- Supporting safety and enjoyment of Tuki’s Island Play Area.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment (including public restrooms, indoor and outdoor pathways, parking lots, event spaces, and play areas).
- Supporting crowd control during peak times and special activities.
Physical & Environmental Considerations:
- You’ll be on the move and interacting with guests throughout your shift.
- Work includes both indoor and outdoor winter settings, be prepared for a variety of temperatures, noise, and lighting conditions.
- Be ready to assist in maintaining clean public spaces including restrooms and potential clean-up of spills and accidents.
