Assistant Project Manager
The Briad Group
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our construction team in delivering new builds on the horizon in the hospitality and convenience industries. In this role, you'll work closely with the Senior VP of Construction and Design throughout the full lifecycle of a project—from planning and bidding to execution and close-out.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and comfortable communicating with diverse teams, subcontractors, and vendors. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in project coordination who is looking to grow their career in construction management.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the SVP in day-to-day project coordination and execution.
Review and organize subcontractor and vendor proposals.
Prepare bid leveling sheets and assist with budgeting and estimating.
Conduct material take-offs and support procurement.
Manage RFI and submittal processes, drawing logs, and documentation.
Help maintain and update project schedules.
Ensure contract, insurance, and compliance documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in commercial construction preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Clear, respectful communication with both internal teams and external partners.
Able to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with project management tools such as OneDrive, Sage, Suretrak, or Microsoft Project.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Engineering knowledge is a plus.
