Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Monitor and maintain the performance and integrity of existing IT systems.
  • Oversee the planning, deployment, and maintenance of new hardware and software across enterprise environments.
  • Install, configure, and routinely test operating systems and enterprise applications for reliability and performance.
  • Provide advanced technical direction and support to IT helpdesk and operations staff.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of all technical resources, including critical infrastructure.
  • Design and implement robust cybersecurity systems using Microsoft Defender, firewalls, endpoint protection, and encryption standards.
  • Deploy and manage device compliance, security policies, and remote administration using Microsoft Intune.
  • Manage user accounts, licensing, SharePoint, Exchange, and collaboration tools within Microsoft Office 365.
  • Design and support LAN/WAN network infrastructure with a strong focus on Ubiquiti hardware, including UniFi switches, access points, and security gateways.
  • Implement and test backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data safety and business continuity.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and write custom scripts (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to define system requirements and IT strategies aligned with business goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in systems engineering and enterprise IT support.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Linux and Windows Server environments, including installation, patching, and performance tuning.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration, including Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and SharePoint.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Intune for mobile device management and endpoint security.
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and threat detection/remediation tools.
  • Proven ability to write and implement automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
  • In-depth networking knowledge, including experience configuring and maintaining Ubiquiti (UniFi) networks, VLANs, firewalls, and wireless access points.
