We are currently looking to hire a Director of Talent Acquisition role at our Headquarters office in downtown Chicago. 

 SALARY: The average starting salary for this position will fall in the range of $100,000 and $110,000 annually. Where candidates fall in this range will be based on skill and experience level.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead the development and implementation of recruitment strategies with focus on continuous improvement of processes and workflows.
  • Oversee recruitment efforts, ensuring the organization attracts, hires, and retains top-quality candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, department heads, and leadership to align talent strategies with business goals.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience contributing to early engagement and retention.
  • Drive initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the talent management and recruitment processes.
  • Ensure fair and unbiased recruitment and hiring practices.
  • Utilize HR analytics to measure the effectiveness of talent management and recruitment strategies and develop action plans to support continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to inform decision-making.
  • Facilitate effective relationship building between recruitment team and with internal and external partners, including recruitment agencies and educational institutions.
  • Support and train hiring managers regarding recruitment best practices, legal responsibilities and overall roles and responsibilities to ensure a smooth process
    flow within the recruitment function.
  • In collaboration with the Chief People & Culture Officer, manage the recruiting expenses to ensure this stays within budget.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, industrial psychology, organizational development, business or related field from an accredited university or college. required.

    • 7+ years of HR experience with full life-cycle recruitment required.

    • 3+ years of experience in direct leadership required.

    • Working experience with HRIS software, recruitment/applicant tracking systems etc. required.
    • Strong understanding of best practices in employee onboarding, development, and retention required.
    • Extensive experience in talent management, recruitment, and workforce planning required.
    • Extensive experience in using recruitment job boards and related platforms, applicant tracking and timekeeping systems required.
    • Extensive experience in using recruitment job boards and related platforms, applicant tracking and timekeeping systems required.
    • Extensive experience in using HRIS platforms and understanding how the modules relate to one another and how the data is used across the employee system lifecycle required.
    • Master’s degree in human resources, industrial psychology, organizational development, business or related field preferred.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

    • Proven ability to develop and implement successful talent acquisition strategies.
    • Knowledge of diversity and inclusion practices in talent management.
    • Ability to be flexible, highly collaborative, and quickly adapt to change.
    • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills when dealing with individuals at all levels throughout the organization and externally.
    • Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Satisfactorily pass all relevant screenings and criminal background checks.

      PHYSICAL DEMANDS

      • While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for sustained periods of time, frequently talk, hear, use hands and fingers to feel, handle, and operate objects or controls, and occasionally stand, bend, stretch, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, and viewing a computer terminal.
