We are seeking an Intern to join our Multifamily/Healthcare Bridge Sales Desk for our Summer 2026 Internship Program. Our summer internship program is geared towards rising seniors pursuing an undergraduate degree. As an Intern, you will provide organizational and analytical support for the team that analyzes, sizes, quotes, and issues applications for MF/HC bridge and mezzanine loans with a path towards Greystone FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac or CMBS permanent refinancing. This is a unique opportunity to build a foundation for a strong career in commercial real estate by working alongside experts who drive the industry every day.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze real estate financial data for multifamily or healthcare properties.
- Assist with up-front deal screening and due diligence tasks including rent roll analysis, preliminary loan sizing analysis, preparation of loan quotes.
- Input property financial and loan information into Excel financial models and transaction summaries.
- Research various markets, statistics, laws, and regulations.
- Assess sponsor backgrounds and business plans.
- Attend meetings and build relationships with internal Greystone team members and industry participants.
Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics from an accredited college or university is required.
- Fundamental real estate knowledge through prior internships and coursework.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Must have good analytical skills.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management skills and a respect for deadlines.
- Driven, innovative team player who is focused on results and strives to deliver a superior work product.
- Proven track record of success in prior academic or work experience.
- Unquestioned personal and professional integrity.

Interns hired in NYC for summer 2026 will be compensated at $27/ hour.
*The firm is the #1* overall HUD multifamily and healthcare lender by firm commitments, and a top 10 Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily real estate lender.*
