Job Description:
The Project Manager will oversee the IAS project lifecycle, from planning to execution, ensuring cross-functional coordination and risk management across multiple sub-projects. This role will maintain program-level governance by tracking risks, actions, issues, and decisions (RAID), while providing leadership in project scheduling, stakeholder communication, and escalation management.
Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and manage project schedules and deliverables across multiple integrated sub-projects.
- Develop and maintain a program-level RAID log (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions).
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and cross-team discussions to align project objectives.
- Escalate risks and issues to leadership and ensure timely resolution.
- Partner with stakeholders across agencies to ensure communication channels and dependencies are effectively managed.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7 years of Project Management experience on application development projects spanning multiple platforms, programming languages, and methodologies (including internal/external web applications).
- 7 years of experience delivering projects using industry-standard project management lifecycle methodologies, including iterative project planning tracked through formal project plans.
- 3 years of IT customer relationship management in a governmental environment using centralized IT and PMO services.
- 3 years of administering a multi-agency project portfolio in a governmental setting, including:
- Utilizing standardized project management templates.
- Estimating IT project budgets.
- Preparing ROI analyses and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimations.
- Implementing Secure System Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- PMI-accredited coursework required.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Prior experience leading large-scale government technology transformation projects.
- Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, and traditional PMO methodologies.
- Strong facilitation and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders.
