Esse Health is seeking an experienced Project Manager to add to our team!  

Summary:

The Project Manager will facilitate the development, evaluation and improvement of business processes through the implementation of innovative Lean principles and leadership techniques to achieve strategic, operational and financial objectives across all Esse Health sites and Central Business Office departments.

This individual may lead large and complex projects, represent quality on project teams, champion key quality initiatives, develop and lead compliance activities/projects. This position collaborates with others to define project scope and objectives, identify required skills and resources for project team, develop detailed work plans and provide project status.  This position anticipates and identifies project issues and risks, recommends solutions and works with senior management to implement solutions. 

The Project Manager serves as a strategic leader within a dynamic multispecialty physician group, responsible for spearheading projects that enhance operational efficiency, drive clinical innovation, and improve patient care. This individual will oversee cross-functional initiatives, coordinate diverse teams, and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate combines strong organizational acumen, deep understanding of healthcare environments, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Advanced certification (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma) strongly preferred.
• Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years’ project management experience in a healthcare setting, with demonstrated success managing large-scale, multidisciplinary projects. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Experience in Lean systems (concepts, tools and methodologies) and continuous improvement implementation.
• Experience managing complex projects.
• Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience working in a strategic role, with physician-led integrated healthcare delivery organization a plus.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to discuss and champion the business case for change to a business audience and then plan and execute solutions that are of recognizable value to the business.
• Must be highly skilled at collaborative management, team building, and maintaining strong organizational relationships.
• Must have strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
