The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Hendersonville
The role you’ll contribute: Responsible for using a systematic approach to screen, assess, diagnose, offer nutrition intervention, and monitor the nutrition status and progress of patients. This position utilizes the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Standards of Practice for Dietetic Technicians Registered. This role actively participates in providing outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships with all individuals. Contributes to the overall effectiveness of the nutrition care process through diligent and accurate performance of assigned duties.

- Maintains accurate records of nutrition screening and assessment activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Conducts nutrition screening of patients to gather relevant data for nutrition assessment.
- Verifies and documents patient information to support the nutrition assessment process.
- Assists the RDN in developing and implementing nutrition care plans.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- High School Grad or Equivalent Required
- Experience applying customer service behaviors and communication skills Required
- Dietetic Technician Registered (RDT) Preferred
