As a Sales and Use Tax Compliance Coordinator you will review exemption certificates submitted by the branches and assists the branches with remediation of tax certificates deemed invalid. Additional duties include but are not limited to preparing taxing jurisdictional annual reports, business licenses and assists in the monthly sales/use tax return processing.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and process the CertCapture mailbox and exemption certificates submitted by the branch.
  • File all annual reports for the corporation and subsidiaries on a timely basis.
  • Run and provide sales/use tax audit support.
  • Remediate tax certificates which are not valid.
  • Process tax credit approvals as necessary and distribute to appropriate personnel.
  • Distribute the department mail to appropriate personnel.
  • All other tax responsibilities assigned or requested by management.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of directly related training or experience is required.
  • Sales and Use Tax Compliance experience preferred.
  • Alteryx experience preferred; ability to use Alteryx for data analysis and reporting is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and to handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong office and computer skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Detail oriented.
