Human Resources Overview:

The HR Associate position will be part of the HR Foundations program.  HR Foundations is a rotational program that provides undergraduate hires with 2 roles over the course of their first two years with the company. Participants will have an experience in the COE (Center of Expertise) side of HR as well as in a Business Support HR role. The purpose of the program is to orient and integrate undergraduate hires to Lilly and within the HR function. Upon graduating the program, participants will have a foundation in HR, established business knowledge, understand their career goals, and will move into a position within the HR function. 

Responsibilities:  

Responsibilities for the position will depend on the first assignment within the HR Foundations program.  Typically, HR associates are expected to:

  • ​Collaborate effectively within the work team and cross-functional partners
  • ​Deliver on the assigned work and projects
  • ​Demonstrate curiosity in learning and coming up to speed on the role and area of HR
  • Think strategically and analytically to solve problems and complete work
  • Take initiative where you are able to share your perspective and make improvements

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in and attending school, and will complete Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in one of the following fields: human resources, all business disciplines, psychology, communications, social sciences, or liberal arts
  • Expected graduation by August, 2026
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$57,750 - $84,700

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
