Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst (BA) to lead operational client reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with business partners to gather requirements, scoping out new work, and collaborating with agile technology teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions. This role will serve as a primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring alignment and effective implementation.

Requirements

• Perform analysis of business activities to determine functional and technical requirements.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams for reporting initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and technology professionals to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Scope new initiatives, define system objectives, and align deliverables with business needs.
• Formulate and define system requirements based on business needs, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide oversight and guidance on client reporting deliverables and operational impacts.
• Drive projects independently from requirements through to completion, ensuring business goals are met.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of experience in the financial services industry, ideally within asset management or buy-side technology.
• Strong technical skills, including SQL and database proficiency for reporting and analysis.
• Experience working with multiple reporting platforms and performing data analysis.
• Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions while considering future-state impacts.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive projects to completion.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in asset management client reporting or investment operations.
• Experience in Agile methodologies for business/technology solution delivery.
• Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) and data visualization tools.
